Premios Anuario de Publicidad

El pasado Abril se entregaron los premios del Anuario del Club de Creativos, un libro que recoge lo mejor de la publicidad hecha el año pasado en España.

Y entre otras cosas, la agencia Remo ha conseguido incluir la campaña de Bancaja “Tu casa en la playa” con mi ilustración del buceador en la fachada de la casa.

Last April were presented the awards of the Yearbook Creatives Club that collects the best of the advertising works done last year in Spain.

Among other things, the agency Remo has managed to put in the book the Bancaja campaing “Your house on the beach” with my illustration of the diver in the facade of the house.

El próximo día 11 de abril, se estrena en la sala Galileo Galilei de Madrid un musical en homenaje a Stephen Sondheim, compositor, entre otros temas, de las bandas sonoras de West Side Story y Sweeney Todd.

Mi amigo y uno de los productores del musical, Miguel Angel Parra, me encargó la imagen gráfica del cartel y tenia muy claro que la caricatura de Stephen debía respirar el glamour del genial caricaturista Al Hirschfeld.

Ha sido un trabajo precioso para mí. Aquí teneis una imagen del cartel y del merchandising y el enlace de la noticia.

Next April 11th, at the Galileo Galilei theatre of Madrid will be the premiere of a musical tribute to Stephen Sondheim, composer among other themes of the original soundtracks West Side Story and Sweeney Todd.

My friend and one of the producers of this musical, Miguel Angel Parra, asked me the poster of the graphic image and he had very clear that my Stephen’s caricature had to be with the glamour of the genial artist Al Hirschfeld.

It has been a beautiful work for me. Here you are an image of the poster and the merchandising and the link of the news.

World War Hulks

Por fín!. Por fin Pannini Comics ha publicado en España algo del trabajo que he hecho para Marvel.

World War Hulks, fué mi tercer trabajo, después de ” The Age of the Sentry ” y “Spider-man 1602″.

La historia está llena de acción y sangre, muuucha sangre.

Finally!. At last Pannini Comics has published in Spain something of my work with Marvel.

World War Hulks, was mi third job, after of ” The age of the Sentry ” and ” Spider-man 1602″.

This history is full of action and blood, a looooot of blood.

I Love REMO

I Love Remo es el título de la nueva imagen de la Agencia de Publicidad Remo.

Para este precioso proyecto, en el que aparecen 12 parejas en actitud romántica y cariñosa, Remo solicitó mi trabajo y pidió realizarlo con el aspecto de los cómics de los años 50.

El alienígena es una adaptación de un personaje proporcionado por la Agencia.

I Love Remo is the name of the new image of the Advertising Company Remo.

For this beautiful project, on which appear 12 couples in a romantic and sweet attitude, Remo requested for my art and asked me to do it with the 50th comics’ look.

The alien is an adaptation of a character given by the Agency.

X-Men Forever 2 # 16

Esta es mi más reciente colaboración con Marvel.

Con guion del gran Chris Claremont , acabo de participar en esta serie en la que he disfrutado mucho dibujando un montón de personajes Marvel ( Avengers y X-Men)

With script of the great Chris Claremont, I have just taken part in this series that I’ve enjoyed very much drawing lots of Marvel characters ( Avengers and X-Men)

Agents of Atlas #5

Agentes de Atlas se acaba tal y como ha sido hasta ahora.

En su última aparición, he colaborado con diferentes historias cortas en sucesivos episodios. En todos ellos he sido el artista de lápices, tintas y colores, aunque en el último número ha habido una serie de desafortunadas confusiones en las que aparecen como dibujante Gabriel Hardman y como colorista Jim Charalampidis.

No les resto méritos en sus trabajos, pero si el trabajo ha de llevarse críticas malas o buenas, soy yo el responsable.

Os dejo unas muestras del trabajo y la opinión final es vuestra.

The end of Agents of Atlas as you know it.

At their last appearance I have contributed with different short stories in successives issues. In all of them I have been the pencil, ink and color artist although in the final issue there has been a series of unfortunate mistakes appearing as penciller Gabriel Hardman and Jim Charalampidis as colorist.

I don’t want to take the credit away from them, but if the work will have good or bad feedback I’m the only responsible.
