Spider-man 1602 Hard Cover. I love this work.

Cuando Marvel me propuso «cerrar la red» de 1602 con Spider-man, me enamoró la idea. El trabajo que había hecho Neil Gaiman con el original fue excepcional y ahora debía concluir el universo que él había creado. Suponía un gran reto, busqué documentación por todas partes para ambientarlo al máximo y me siento orgulloso del resultado final.

Hemos visto miles de veces a Peter Parker, Osborne, Octopus o Lizard, pero Jeff Parker los ha desarrollado de un modo muy especial, y yo he disfrutado rediseñándolos.

En sucesivas entradas os contaré algunas anécdotas del proceso creativo.

When Marvel proposed me to ‘complete the web’ of 1602 with Spider-man, I fell in love with the idea. The work that made Neil Waiman with the original was exceptional and now I had to finish the universe that he created. It was a big challenge, I looked for information to set it to the max and I’m really proud of the final result.

We have seen a thousand times Peter Parker, Osborne, Octopus or The Lizard, but Jeff Parker has developed them in a very special way, and I have enjoyed redesigning them.

In next entries I will tell you some anecdotes of the creative process.
