Presentacion en FNAC Madrid

Hace unas semanas tuve la oportunidad de presentar mi libro «Eliminar a Vasili Záitsev» en FNAC Barcelona con Jordi Ojeda.
Aprovechando que la serie de 7 volumenes WW2.2 ha concluído este mes, se hará una presentación de todos los libros en FNAC Madrid el 11 de Diciembre y varios autores estaremos contando nuestras experiencias y anecdotas.
Aquí teneis unas fotos del acto en Barcelona y unas imágenes de una página paso a paso.
Some weeks ago I had the chance to present my book «Eliminar a Vasili Záitsev» in FNAC Barcelona with Jordi Ojeda.
As the WW2.2 series of 7 volumes is fininshing this moth, there will be a presentation of all the books in FNAC Madrid on December 11th and some of the artists will be explaining our experiences and anecdotes.

Hace poco que ha salido publicado por Diábolo Ediciones, con una edición espléndida, mi libro de la serie WW2.2 La otra guerra mundial -«Eliminar a Vasili Záitsev»-.
Con motivo de ésta edicion, se hará una presentación en el FNAC de Plaça de Catalunya de Barcelona el próximo día 6 de septiembre a las 19:00 hrs de la tarde.
También hoy aparece en la cabecera de la web de RTVE y en el apartado de cultura, el magnífico artículo que Jesús Jimenez ha realizado del libro.
Me siento muy orgulloso de la acogida que está teniendo.
Recently, has been published by Diabolo Ediciones, with a splendid edition, my book in the series WW2.2, L’autre guerre mondiale – «Eliminate Vassili Zaïtsev» –.
On the occasion of this edition, we will make a presentation at the FNAC in Plaça de Catalunya in Barcelona on September, 6th at 19:00 pm.
Also, today appears in the header of the RTVE website and in the section of culture, the great article that Jesús Jimenez has made about the book.
I am very proud of the welcome that this book is having.

Los pasados días 22, 23 y 24 de Marzo, tuve el privilegio de asistir al Stand de Chez Dargaud en el Salon du livre de Paris con motivo de la aparición del libro «WW2.2 Eliminer Vassili Zaïtsev «, mi primera colaboración con Thomas Ragon.
Este año Barcelona era la ciudad invitada y el Salón se llenó de artistas y escritores catalanes.
Durante los tres días estuve firmando libros y fué alucinante !!!. El público realmente estupendo !!!
El último día conocí a Jean-Laurent Truc, un magnífico periodista, con el que tuve una conversación ( un peu en Français, a little in English, el resto en Castellano) acerca de mi trabajo y al que espero ver nuevamente pronto, tal vez en Montpellier.

Past days March 22, 23 and 24, I had the honor to attend the Stand of Chez Dargaud in the Paris book fair on the occasion of the publication of the book «WW2.2 Eliminer Vassili Zaïtsev», my first collaboration with Thomas Ragon.
This year Barcelona was the guest city and the Fair grew crowded of catalonian artists and writers.
During these three days I was singing books and it was awesome !!! The public really wonderful !!!
Last day I knew Jean-Laurent Truc, a great journalist, who I had a conversation with ( un peu en Français, a little in English, the rest in Castillian ) about my job and would like see him soon, maybe in Montpellier.

Éliminer Vassili Zaïtsev

Hace un par de años Thomas Ragon y David Chauvel me propusieron colaborar en la serie de libros » WW2.2 l’autre deuxième guerre mondiale» una idea muy original con una segunda guerra mundial alternativa en la que Adolf Hitler muere al principio. La colección consta de 7 albumes y yo me he encargado del 4º con el famoso, aunque no demostrado, enfrentamiento entre los francotiradores ruso y alemán Vassili Zaïtsev y el mayor Heinz Thorvald.
Hoy tras la larga temporada de trabajo ha salido a la luz.

Two years ago Thomas Ragon and David Chauvel proposed me to collaborate in the series » WW2.2 l’autre deuxième guerre mondiale», a very original idea with an alternative second World War where Adolf Hitler dies in the beginning. The collection has 7 books and I have done the 4th with the famous confront, but not demonstrate, between the Russian and German snipers Vassili Zaïtsev and Heinz Thorvald.
Today, after a long time of work it comes to light.

Premios Anuario de Publicidad

El pasado Abril se entregaron los premios del Anuario del Club de Creativos, un libro que recoge lo mejor de la publicidad hecha el año pasado en España.
Y entre otras cosas, ha sido incluída la campaña de Bancaja «Tu casa en la playa» con mi ilustración del buceador en la fachada de la casa.
Last April were presented the awards of the Yearbook Creatives Club that collects the best of the advertising works done last year in Spain.
Among other things, has been attached in the book the Bancaja campaing «Your house on the beach» with my illustration of the diver in the facade of the house.

El próximo día 11 de abril, se estrena en la sala Galileo Galilei de Madrid un musical en homenaje a Stephen Sondheim, compositor, entre otros temas, de las bandas sonoras de West Side Story y Sweeney Todd.
Mi amigo y uno de los productores del musical, Miguel Angel Parra, me encargó la imagen gráfica del cartel y tenia muy claro que la caricatura de Stephen debía respirar el glamour del genial caricaturista Al Hirschfeld.
Ha sido un trabajo precioso para mí. Aquí teneis una imagen del cartel y del merchandising y el enlace de la noticia.
Next April 11th, at the Galileo Galilei theatre of Madrid will be the premiere of a musical tribute to Stephen Sondheim, composer among other themes of the original soundtracks West Side Story and Sweeney Todd.
My friend and one of the producers of this musical, Miguel Angel Parra, asked me the poster of the graphic image and he had very clear that my Stephen’s caricature had to be with the glamour of the genial artist Al Hirschfeld.

Por fín!. Por fin Pannini Comics ha publicado en España algo del trabajo que he hecho para Marvel.
World War Hulks, fué mi tercer trabajo, después de » The Age of the Sentry » y «Spider-man 1602».
La historia está llena de acción y sangre, muuucha sangre.
Finally!. At last Pannini Comics has published in Spain something of my work with Marvel.
World War Hulks, was mi third job, after of » The age of the Sentry » and » Spider-man 1602″.
This history is full of action and blood, a looooot of blood.
I Love REMO

I Love Remo es el título de la nueva imagen de la Agencia de Publicidad Remo.
Para este precioso proyecto, en el que aparecen 12 parejas en actitud romántica y cariñosa, Remo solicitó mi trabajo y pidió realizarlo con el aspecto de los cómics de los años 50.
El alienígena es una adaptación de un personaje proporcionado por la Agencia.
I Love Remo is the name of the new image of the Advertising Company Remo.
For this beautiful project, on which appear 12 couples in a romantic and sweet attitude, Remo requested for my art and asked me to do it with the 50th comics’ look.
The alien is an adaptation of a character given by the Agency.

Esta es mi más reciente colaboración con Marvel.
Con guion del gran Chris Claremont , acabo de participar en esta serie en la que he disfrutado mucho dibujando un montón de personajes Marvel ( Avengers y X-Men)
This is my newest work with Marvel.
With script of the great Chris Claremont, I have just taken part in this series that I’ve enjoyed very much drawing lots of Marvel characters ( Avengers and X-Men)
